DreamSuite Gel Series is a fun visual arts tool that lets you create vibrant and translucent colored artwork and images. DreamSuite Gel Series allows you to add amazing reflective and refractive depth effects. Gel includes advanced brush based tools to let you paint on depth and translucent reflections, colors and textures. In a few short hours you can master the easy to use controls and be creating powerful visual effects. DreamSuite was designed to be useful for your everyday design projects. Great care was put into building an infinite amount of variation into the effects so the work you create is styled after your own tastes and avoids the canned look so many graphics programs are known for. DreamSuite Gel works as both a plug-in for Adobe PhotoShop, and as a stand alone application for Windows 98/NT/2000/ME/XP or Power Macintosh systems running OS 8.5 or higher. DreamSuite Gel runs native under OS X.

DreamSuite Gel Series Effect
There are five primary effects in the Gel Series: Gel, Gel Mixer, Gel Painter, Crystal and Crystal Painter. Each has powerful bevel, lighting, shading, surface mapping, texture mapping and environmental mapping controls that give you a vast amount of control over the results generated by the effect.
 
Brush-On or Use Selections
You can either brush-on the effect or use selections / masks inside the program or from Photoshop to define the areas that are to receive the effect. In the examples on this page the artists simply made selections in Photoshop then used the Gel Series plug-in to add the effect. This process was repeated as necessary to build some of the more complex pieces of artwork illustrated on this page.
