The LeapFrog Tag Literacy Center is a multisensory literacy kit that provides explicit, direct instruction in early literacy skills, including phonemic awareness, alphabetics, and phonics. The Literacy Center is a robust and engaging supplement to any core reading curriculum and supports multiple learning modalities. • 2 Sets of a 6-volume Tag Phonemic Awareness Book Series - an interactive book series that focuses on phonemic awareness, decoding, phonics and reading fluency skills in a six-level series. Reinforces letter-name recognition, letter sound correspondence, sight-word development, vocabulary development and word blending. Engages students with lively stories and immediate audio feedback.
• 2 Sets of a 26-volume Tag Interactive Decodable Phonics Book Series, which provide explicit, systematic phonemic awareness instruction that is research-based and effective. Allows students to independently explore essential prereading skills. Motivates students through activities with captivating stories read aloud.
• 3 Tag Super Spellers (interactive word-building activities), which use sight, touch and sound to teach letter-name recognition and lettersound association. The interactive activities help students build more than 300 three- and four-letter words and can be used for small group or individual instruction.
• 1 LeapDesk workstation - an assessment, instruction, and adaptive learning tool that allows teachers to individualize instruction in letter-name recognition, letter-sound association, and phonological awareness. It speaks the names of letters of the alphabet and produces their phonetic pronunciations in the context of specific words.
